Am I Safe, and Secure?
Am I safe, and secure?
A query so obscure
Presses on my hypothalamus,
Even as I pass each litmus.
I wonder — what does life have in store?
Aho! It throws tantrums — more and more!
Aircrafts crash,
Trains tumble,
Vessels embrace inferno,
While quakes, floods, and volcanoes
All play their roles in this grand show.
Mass karma… or your very own?
It may strike anywhere — unknown.
So let’s treasure every fleeting moment!
Laugh and smile — like it’s all instant!
You and I — we’re safe, we’re secure,
This very second — that’s for sure!
